We are introducing a new and innovative study program:
MODERN FILMMAKING
Starting from the second year, the programme offers two specialisations:
DIRECTING & AI and CINEMATOGRAPHY & AI.
In the first year, all students follow the same set of core courses. After completing the first year, each student chooses one of the two specialisations to pursue in the later stages of their degree.

Bachelor’s Degree in Cinematography with Artificial Intelligence
Modern Filmmaking: Cinematography & AI is a contemporary cinematography degree program designed for future cinematographers, directors of photography (DoP), and visual artists who want to combine classical camera craft with artificial intelligence–enhanced workflows.
The program focuses on cinematography for film, television, streaming platforms, and new media, while integrating AI into visual development, on-set decision-making, and post-production. Students learn how to design images that serve the story while expanding their creative possibilities through AI-assisted tools.
Graduates leave with strong technical expertise, visual sensitivity, and AI literacy, ready to work in professional film and media environments.

The Modern Filmmaking: Cinematography & AI program emphasizes collaboration, practice, and interdisciplinary understanding.
Year 1:
Students study together with peers from Modern Filmmaking: Directing & AI, gaining a comprehensive overview of film and multimedia production. Joint courses build shared creative language and strengthen cooperation between directors and cinematographers.
Years 2–3:
The curriculum becomes increasingly specialized. Cinematography students focus on:
- advanced camera techniques,
- lighting design and visual composition,
- image post-production and color workflows,
- AI-supported creative exploration, including real-time visualization, testing visual concepts,
- and generating new stylistic approaches.
Students complete multiple projects and graduate with a professional showreel aligned with international standards.
